Muesli: Yes. To sweeten these Mueslis we add Kakvi, which is the most unrefined form of sugar possible (and is even more nutritious than jaggery). But it does have a Glycemic Index similar to jaggery. So if you’re completely off sugar or diabetic, please consult your doctor before consuming. Peanut Butter: Yes. But only from raw, whole dates that we de-pit ourselves. No added sugar. No fancy sugar substitutes. No artificial sweeteners. Nothing.

Muesli: No, this variant of Muesli has whole milk powder. Peanut Butter: Yes, this peanut butter is vegan, made only from plant based ingredients.

Muesli: We recommend 50gms. Enough to satiate you and get you started in the morning. But not so much that it gets you drowsy or busts your calorie quota. Peanut Butter: 35g or two tablespoons. It’s tough to resist just that. But we suggest you do :)

Muesli: In 200ml cold milk. Or with 150gm curd (or Greek yogurt). Add some fresh fruits like apple, banana, berries or pomegranate on top for extra freshness. Peanut Butter: You can spread it on bread, top it on a cracker, mix it in a shake or just have it as is! It’s yummm in all forms.

Kakvi is the most un-refined form of sugar possible. It’s the golden dark liquid that, on further reduction, hardens into jaggery. Since we pull it out mid-way, it retains even more nutrition than jaggery. Of course, ~70% of Kakvi is sucrose (sugar). Which means that in terms of insulin impact and glycemic index, it’s similar to sugar. But it’s far more nutritious.

That’s because commercially available honey is usually adulterated with sugar syrup and it is very difficult to ascertain its purity. We de-pit dates ourselves to ensure that only the best ones go in.

Most other mueslis use commercially available dark chocolate compound or paste (which is largely refined sugar mixed with artificial flavours). We make our own chocolate straight from cocoa beans using tightly controlled processes in-house.
